My dirty little secret

I can no longer carry around this guilt inside. I feel like I’m going to burst if I don’t say something. So you, my dear readers, shall be my priest as I give my confession.

I have been having an affair. I know, I know. Really, with a baby in the house, where would I find the time. I’m not really sure how it happened, or even when the mere flirtations became serious. We met at JoAnn Fabrics. Now don’t get me wrong I love my yarn, but well, there were prints, and corduroys, and denims. I…I…Iam weak. I have been sewing. All summer long. Everything from clothes to cloth diapers. There, I said it. I feel better already. Strangley enough, I approached my knitting about the “other craft” and my knitting didn’t mind, especially the cloth diapers. It said, “Sew some cloth diapers with your sewing machine, then come to me and knit woolies to cover them.” I thought, could this really work? The three of us? Together? Well we are going to give it a try. Don’t tell sewing this, but knitting is my long term love, we have been together for twenty years. Sewing…it’s usually a summer fling.
